Very nice! I like the design, material choice, and workmanship. Unfortunately, it's so nice that it will encourage you to keep your razors in the bathroom.

Very nice solution for one razor, one DE, etc. . What are you going to do when, or if, Acquisition Disorder for Straight Razors hit?

Haven't thought of that yet. But, you can look at my post in "The Finer Things in Life" at some keepsake boxes I made. May do something like those for razors in the future.

    Nicely done!

I especially like the spot for the Swaty.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I love it and walnut is a beautiful wood. I bet some cherry wood would look great as well.

That's easy, just make another one that's 5' long.

    Beautiful razor stand, great job!
I'm trying to build one myself but I have yet to decide the design...
May I ask how wide is the hole for the brush? and is there a standard measure (one that fits all) or you based the width on how big your brush was?

    Thank you.

I just measured for my brush. It's 27mm I believe. You could also hang some brushes by the handle and would just have to customize the opening to the brush handle then. I'm not sure if there is a standard measure or not on brushes. Maybe someone else that knows more about brushes could chime in. Thanks!
