Thread: Homegrown 7 day razor rack.

Hi folks. I put together a stand for my modest little collection and figured I'd post the results for public comic relief.
I'm a fledgling SR user and a do it yourselfer at heart so I grabbed some plank pine from a crate at work and worked up a design that looked good to me and allowed for my straights, a badger brush (to be built later), and my dads old Gillette DE that I still use when I'm rushed in the morning.. Tried the straight when rushed,,,, won't do that again. Ouch.
I mounted some rare earth magnets behind the felt to keep everything tightly secured and went with a walnut stain to bring out the grain some.
I set the 'scale' offset to 8 degrees to mirror half a perfect bevel and like the way it turned out.
i have a Boker, W and B, TI, Genco, Ontario Cutlery, Lacroix, and gasp,,gold dollar in my rotation currently. The GD will be happily retired to the letter drawer when my SRP custom arrives...Cheers gents!
