    Beautiful work!

I wish I had the chops to turn out a piece that nice. It does get the gears turning though - I like the idea of a single shelf - that is until I outgrow it, which I am desperately trying to keep under control.

I actually just made one this afternoon. I grabbed a 1x6x4 oak board and picked up some nice cabinet knobs.

I think I can do better than these Plexiglas sheets but for now this keeps the razors up and out of the way.
The other advantage is easy access to any single razor without disturbing the rest.
I have been looking for small discreet support brackets instead of the tacky elastic thread.
Dave, I too am receptive to any and all suggestions,.....Hint, hint, nudge, nudge......

If you like the set up you have you can make a box with 1/2in wood and cut grooves the width of the plexi and slide each one in and out kinda like a filing system. Or add a hinge to each peace and attach them to a board like a large razor book. For that set up it seems the elastic is the best set up for air flow and room on the board. If you have an idea and would like some outside view points PM me.
    Keep them clean and DANGEROUS!!

=MrMagnus;1318363]I had it made by a local sadel maker.
Yes Magnus, I have been very envious of your storage unit ever since I first spotted in in one of your famous shaving videos.

Currently I use a nice 7 day box I bought from TI as well as a 26 slot pen box someone mentioned earlier. That takes me to 33 in the bathroom but I need much more storage space to fit them all.

Ralph your setup looks like it's eternally expandable - and the idea JR has is a way to use some of those pounds of plexi you've been snagging!

Jr your stuff is amazing - just wish I had the room for those boxes and holders.

MrMagnus, that setup is beautiful! I may need to get the name and address for the guy that did that one...
