    Default Need some help to I identify this.

    Hi Everyone.

    I need some help from the collective wisdom of the members.
    I came across this item while on one of my hunts..

    I has some this to do with stropping but not 100% sure

    It is a Fleming Razor Stropper & Honer from 1908. It could take straights as well as blades and its main job was to keep the blade/razor at the correct angle on the hone or the strop:

    There looks to be a Buck Model 119 in that case too,,, I'd get that if the price is right.

    There are a number of newspaper ads for it, mostly dating to 1909 when it was marketed for 2 usd. All the ads say that it "...strops and hones all razors and blades, old style and safety..."
