    Today, I was asked if I'd like to barter - and I always smile when this comes up, because it can be a lot of fun. So for some work I got this seed cabinet, needs TLC but
    I'm thinking a little elbow grease, shop time and I'll have a "razor and hone storage".
    Can I fill this with razors and hones? No problem! Never satisfied apparently but this piece will contain everything in one unit vs. the other one.

    A little progress today
    On the new razor and hone storage. lucky for me I had some oak and the right thickness. I filled the empty drawer spot with a solid piece of oak and made a door, replaced the rotten base, did some gluing and clamping, nails, drills....very threapeutic day!

    Great and coming along very well! Keep up the progress and show us as you get is done!

    A post processor for the photos would help to make them right side up or hold your phone vertically?

    PS;
    PhotoScape is free and very usefull to get better posting photos, with a quite intuitive menu:

    Takes a bit more than that to get me bent out of shape. Have fun with the photo post processor!
    And..the hone storage!

    Pulled the hardware off this moring and buffed with ren- wax.
    Wiped some black stain on. I think it's turning out good.
    Not a true restoration but I'm happy with the results so far.
    I need to add some bracing that was attached to the back at one time.
    I think I'm going shellac the inside of the drawers to preserve the seed labels and then line it with felt or something, just going to lay it in though. Maybe add some lighting to the bottom portion with the door and then it'll be done.
