there have been a few threads here and there and quite a few members do wood work. An idea might be to do a search and find some old posts perhaps you can find a couple of guys who's work you like and you can PM them.

Not sure the fit would be ok, but Woodcraft sells presentation boxes for pen/pencils that customers turned.
