That is soap too close to my coffee. I just couldnt do it. I know the soap is not going in the coffee but it would just bother me too much.

Lol... do it once, and you’ll get over it. BUT! Make sure the bottom of the bowl clean.

Seriously, I make a coffee every morning using a French Press and a kettle. As soon as the kettle boils and the coffee is poured, I go upstairs and either make a later in my stainless bowl, or throw the soap in to warm AND my brush - after which I put it on top of my coffee cup. Keeps the lather/brush warm, and the coffee too. Win/win.

    Works for me.
no s*it. I use a french press and kettle as well. MY family thinks im crazy, but i think the drip method tastes bad and the Keurig i think is a bacteria infestation. However i drink iced coffee, so i quickly chill the coffee afterwords. Also when i make coffee in the morning, i am usually completely tired. Shaving at a time like that could be deadly for me. But interesting method.

I usually lather up after my shower and brush my teeth and have my first coffee while the lather is sitting on my face. Since I have a moustache and beard and only shave neck, cheeks and sideburns, there is no worry about getting soap in the java. If I were completely clean shaven, I imagine I’d have to change this routine.

I've been using a makeshift brush scuttle for almost 5 years.
