Kamisori display

I got the bug for Kamisori a while ago....Right! Now, since they do not self cover the edge, I had to do something..No toss in drawer for these. Most boxing would not save the edge; so:

A simple wall shadow box from a garage sale sawed into a front and a back using a table saw, not quite all the way through the walls; extra pieces containing magnets (see above) were positioned and screwed to the back, and hinges and hardware were installed. I have seen similar boxes at Craft Stores.

All closed up, safe and ready for use.

Kamisori are fun and so is the shop time taken to keep them safe.

PS, I did it this way so I could also use the idea for regular straight razors if I make the case long way up. Then I could move the magnet "L" blocks where needed for blade width. They keep the blade about a quarter inch above the back of the case.
