Thread: Can Anyone tell me what this is?

Well, I posit this: the OP has joined and made one post. He has admitted to being an antiques dealer with 'all kinds or razors.' And he gives the weirdly suspicious provenance of the 'razor' being given to him by 'a really old barber.' Unless he enters the fray this is a blatant sales pitch. Notice none of the historians have commented. I would be glad to be wrong.

Well, looks like WW243 is right. Bummer... Hoped to learn something weird about a previously unknown item...

I'll take a stab in the dark and say that the handle part was from an Ivory Comb and the comb-part broke away long ago leaving just the decorated handle which lay around in a box until someone found it then grabbed some random steel and put it together as the pic shows now.
