I bought the medium sized barbicide container that comes with a top and tray to hold your razor. It is fantastic for all types of instruments such as nail clippers, tweezers etc.. The tray makes it very easy to lift out and remove items. I have just enough barbicide to cover my razor blade and not the scales. I soak for 15 minutes. Every 30 days I soak my razors to keep them free of any unwanted bacteria etc.

I figure that an occasional wipe with a alcohol prep pad (ISO Alcohol) is all one would require for routine singular use.
