Not sure what Alembi is, but I just use a sturdy plastic lunchbox-type container with a clip on lid. Wrap the razors in a t-shirt, put them in the box. Congratulations on the job, Singapore is one of my favourite places. What sort of work do you have there, if you don't mind me asking?

As with howdydave - I use the same razor sheath. I use one for storage at home and one - often only half full - for weekly trips.
Lightweight, protective and not at all bulky.

For security reasons, you will obviously not be allowed to keep the razors in your carry-on luggage.

That being the case, you want to transport your razors in the most compact manner that you can.
IMO: That would be a roll-up.

He is looking for a case to protect his razors. A roll up does not protect, only keeps them in a soft bag. The Alembic case is very good, with the exception that they are not available anymore. I bought two back then. I wish I had gotten more. But as John said Pelican bases are about as good as it gets for protection against being knocked around by baggage handlers and he occasional mishap. I hope you find something, I wouldn't move mine without the needed case, Tc

How many razors do you have and what do you want to protect them from? I travel a lot and so far, touch wood, haven't had any trouble. I do like what some of the others have suggested. Put them in their boxes or cases and wrap them in clothes in the middle of the suitcase. Do the same thing with hones. Even if they threw my case of the top of a building I think the razors would be fine. You may or may not want to oil them before wrapping.
I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

    I read "safely transport"...

A roll up snugly packed in a hardcover suitcase would you all of the protection that you need.

How many straight razors are we talking about?
If it is a lot, I might still go with multiple roll ups.

Since we are talking about international travel, volume will also be a major issue.
