    I like this idea, but where do you get the closed cell foam. Lowes, Home Depot, Hardware Store, etc.

    You would Want a hard foam, probably urethane but I found this used for packing in some equipment that was shipped to work, don't have any left sorry!

    Looks good! I actually have the Thiers Issard box, my only issue with it is that my Thiers Issard 7/8 doesn't fit in it.

    Another easy way to have a "felt" like finish. With a nice professional result is Flocking. Hobby stores have it in assorted colors. You get your dividers and interior done on your box. Cover any area that you want covered with the correct type of glue. And dust the treated/glued area with the flocking material. Once it dries. Use a brush to lightly scrub out any material that is loose. Compressed air works for that too. This will be a future project of mine as well. I have narrowed down my razors to around 10 that I am going to keep. As some I just do not prefer to use enough to warrant keeping them around. Hope this suggestion helps. Ken.

    Are you referring to the razor or the box?
