I recall that camellia oil is something that will go rancid, I don't know but if plant based could be true, long term, I use whatever is in front f me, RemOil, tuff glide, but maybe the best is Renwax, the real key is to be perfectly dry before applying anything, moisture trapped under lubricants will cause a lot of corrosion.
