Hung by their tails with care; hoping no Nicks would be there:
Magnetic holder made by small rare earth magnets. 1/4 diameter and 1/8th thick. al installed with the polarity the same. Keeps the blades apart.
The clear plastic door opens downward to horizontal toprevent long falls when I get clumsy.
Served well for many years. No room in small apartment now.

Thanked: 315Looks really nice. I wouldn't suggest it for anyone living near a fault line though. When my daughter gets big enough to reach stuff like that she would probably want to see how hard it is to knock the razors down.
Large razor sign is really interesting. I like it.
Are those hone boxes on the bottom?

I use an old Craftsman machinist tool chest to store my straight collection with the little felt lined drawers. The ones in rotation are on top of a cabinet, but I'm working on some type of display shelf. I got some good ideas here. Thanks! Lou

I can't decide if I want display type storage or a felt/leather roll. Still deciding...

Thanked: 11Not sure if this thread is still active... I'm sure most people have had this question at some point. Would make a good sticky thread. Anyways, I didn't like the idea of hiding away my razors, so I make my own wall-mounted display shelves. The shelf is recessed underneath, with magnets glued in. Works good!

It is active as long as people post! Very nice work and the shelving give s good air circulation around each razor. Also they are in plain sight to keep track of their condition.
