You may not realize it but that last item is very familiar to me because it is really "The Holy Grail". I saw it a couple thousand years ago when Jesus and I...well you don't wanna know. You are now the richest guy in the world. Folks will pay billions for it.
What are you going to do with it?No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Love the pig bowl, Richard!
You must send that unclean thing to me!
Back in the day, that egg thingy was the shizzle. Imagine having that set before you. With a boiled egg in it, of courseLast edited by sharptonn; 03-11-2018 at 02:46 AM.

Nelson, it is my mostly everyday now holder of the softly boiled Holy Ovum of lunch, replacing a totally plebeian cup of railroad ancestry.
Tom, re pig bowl. Remind me to tell you someday of my first ham sandwich."The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

I think you have it upside down, Richard? The egg should perch on the smaller end!

It's a twofer item. In the shell on the small end used by the pretenders of good taste. Scooped out and messed with on the big end by the ingestors of daily protein need for a good days work.

Another foray in Goodwill the other day. Once again the Goodwill gleaners overlooked the first item and it hit the shelves. A nice Burt Bees scuttle for $1.99. The second item, a set of two cast iron small griddles measuring 4-1/2" across were $1.99 each. They are great for that single fried egg or one (on a diet) pancake you then smother with butter and Maple syrup. Considering their size they would be excellent for making little blinis you can fill with sour cream and caviar - the Russian delight.

For a second Richard I thought you were going to say you used those griddles as some new fangled latherer for shaving.

Thanked: 562Seem to have more luck at flea markets and auctions than at “treasure stores”. I have yet to see a razor or shaving accessory at a Goodwill, Salvation Army or Value Village.

Thanked: 3228One of the few shaving items to show up at a local Salvation Army Store was a gold Gillette Toggle. It was auctioned off and iirc I won for $60.00 which is not a steal but well under the going rate for a decent Toggle without case.
