The best cheap shave bowl
Okay, so I call it the best, but really it's just the best I have found in my month or so of straight shaving. I found this bowl at Wal-Mart while I was waiting on my prescription the other day. I''m pretty sure this is just a cheap plastic replica of those mexican dishes they serve salsa in. It was less than a buck so I thought why not. The thing that attracted me was that it is a little rough on the inside. The roughness seems to really help make a great lather really quickly. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like I can make twice as much lather in this thing as I can in my old coffee cup in half the time. I highly encourage y'all to try it and let me know what you think. Here is a picture I grabbed off some random website to show you what they look like.

Thanked: 125Nice
Mine is a little ceramic dip dish which I picked up from Target. Has little ridges and works nicely, although I maily face lather.

Thanked: 20I had to show my father this, being that he's old country Mexican. You nearly killed him at the thought of using a "molcajete" for lather. Thanks for the great idea and the chuckle.

For big soap pucks, I bought a big $5 mug from Cost Plus World Market. Works well enough for me!
