I do the same thing, I'm always looking around for the next best thing. I have little glass desert bowls with lids, I think they're pyrex, not sure, Have to check. anyway, the beauty is, you can seal them up for storage. Got them in the kitchen/housewares section of wally world or Target'..The bad part is waiting for the puck to adhere to the glass. The first two times, it sloshes around in there, and keeps spinning like a record....

I think I have the same ones, they are great for soap pucks!

Sweet! Sometimes less is more. I found an old handmade ceramic pottery mug that a friend made collecting dust in the garage, turned out to be the perfect mug to build lather in.

I've only used it twice counting yesterday. I still have to some more experimenting to do becaues I'm so accustomed to mug. This is wider and I've to take into account my water to soap/cream ratio.

I'll post more in detail with few more uses.

a Mortar? screw you and your cleverness. Next thing you'll be telling me is that Geodes make perfect lather bowls. Where does it end?

but in all honesty I'm probably going try one of those myself.

It ends with my 32 oz (1 liter) Cornell shave mug.
