Thread: Scuttle use

Since going from a "cold" mug to a scuttle, I moved more into face lathering. I get quite a thick half-product in the scuttle/brush, apply a few drops of water to the face and lather up with that beautiful warm brush.

Gentlemen,

As a rule, I prefer to make lather directly onto my Hollywood face. When using my Georgetown Scuttle, however, I heat the bowl and the tank from the tea kettle and make the lather in the bowl.

I find that just a thin layer of hot water into the top bowl really helps the "warm" throughout the shave too.
