I definitely agree about enlarging the spout. I have a Georgetown Pottery G-5 and like the lip to keep the lather in the bowl; it also allows me to squeegee the lather from the top of the brush and reload it into the tip of the brush. I do like your handle better. The G-5's handle doesn't give you something to stabilize it when carrying it. I would suggest a flat thumb platform on the top of the handle to brace with your thumb and maybe a notch on the lower handle to brace with your middle finger when carrying/holding.


Or maybe a "horn" on the top of the handle that you could hook your thumb on to prevent the whole scuttle from sliding/rotating/tipping over when picked up with wet or lathery fingers.
