Thanks for sharing this nice work. Looks not only beautiful but very practical as well. Would like to see the further pics when you have applied the finish.
Do you use the hook just for hanging the strop or when you are stropping too?

First of all, thanks for the kind words. I just finished it and will post some complete pics.

There is a second hook at the bottom of the strop handles that I hook to for stropping.

I am in the midst of remodeling our bathroom, this has given me some good ideas as to the design for ours. It will become the master bath/shave den soon!
