I ended up purchasing the Tiers Issard Elm Burl...but not the one Henry recommended from Classic Shaving (sorry Henry...just didn't like the price and the blue interior). What I bought is the following:

Did I stop there??...of course not . To add fuel to the fire, I also added a 7/8" Thiers Issard Eagle Brand Straight Razor with Red Staminawood Handle

Hmmm...I have to start exercising some self-control, otherwise I may end up with an AD (acquisition disorder) .
