Thanked: 10Dwarv,
Is that bowl the half pint serving kettle, 3 1/2" diameter, 2' deep? Does it have legs on the bottom? I'm on the lodge site, and that's the closest I've seen.

How does one season cast iron?
I've been looking to get a set for my kitchen but didn't know they need to be seasoned.Shaving_story on Instagram

The best way to season cast iron is to cook up some 'taters and onions and throw the first batch out as they will stick like glue to the iron, use plenty of oil or grease and burn it in slow.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

with all those bacon fanatics out there.. i'm sure it's only a matter of time before we get a bacon as splash.. there are already bacon scented candles why not some deodorant too?

Thanked: 24You must remember that using a shave cream or soap that has any kind of fat product or oils in it will season the cast iron some.
