One question, I see all the pictures have the razors standing on the tang rather than the other way around...is there a reason for this (protecting the blade/scales/etc), or just the way you think they look best?
The stand will hold more if the razors are stood on the tang and more importantly they are less likely to slip out of the base than if stood the other way. At least in my experience doing it both ways.

Default But what about the razors?

I was tempted to rush to Target to get one for myself when I realized that I only own 2 razors, one of which has it's own home in the stand that holds my brush and lather bowl.

Wait, I've got an idea.. Buy the stand, put my lone razor in the stand, point out to SWMBO what a bargain the stand was (she's a sucker for bargains), complain to SWMBO that the stand just might tip over without a counter-balance... order another razor...

    Yea, that's the ticket

Hmm... I wonder if this thread has anything to do with Target's website for the green stand now says, "This item out of stock."

Haha.. well I just picked mine up at the Local Target. They had 4 or 5 of them so I may end up going back and grabbing a few more for future use.

I bought this to hold my razors.....9.99, works like a charm. They do have a lot of color combos, metals combos ect
I went to an antique mall and use pipe holders to store my razors:
    1. With straight razors (soaps in humidor) in walnut
    2. With double edge razors (soaps in humidor)
    3. With pipes (its original purpose--had to take the pipes to get the rack)

Note: you have to be sure that the holes on top are wide enough to accomodate your razors. Some aren't. I have a couple of other pipe racks:
    1. Another in oak (holds 10)

    2. Another in walnut (humidor in middle)
