    We have guys on this site using razors from the 18th century. If you've got a really old one and want appropriate musical accompaniment, look to later works by Bach or Handel, anything from Mozart or Haydn, or early Beethoven. Good stuff!

    I love classical music. I listen to it 50% of my time. But the other night I played this number when I mowed down two weeks of growth, and the song seemed to fit my mood just fine.:Ted Nugent - Stranglehold (HQ) - YouTube

    Gentlemen,
    When I listen to music while shaving, it is always classical. Bach's partitas and sonatas for solo violin or cello, or his violin concertos make my mornings a delight. I also listen to string quartets by Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, and Beethoven. Claude Debussy's piano works are on my playlist. Composers such as Chopin, Schumann, and Brahms are wonderful company. Ah well, that's just the start of the music that keeps me company during my shave.

    Sweaty Teddy rocks! When young guitar players inclined to rock music first take up the instrument, I always recommend they listen Ted. By the way, you know who sings backup on 'Stranglehold'? None other than a young Meatloaf!

    I'm guessing many of you won't know this particular band but I find listening to Tool to be the perfect accompanying music for my shaves. Progressive rock metal with a classical composition, definitely fitting for me.

    Here in NC, I usually listen to classical station WCPE while I shave. If you want to listen online, their website is here: WCPE - Great Classical Music 24 Hours a Day

    There seems to be an impasse between the classical and pop preferences, so why not a pop classic in 3/4 time?
