Actually I have started on a larger one for you, but I have to head to Ontario this weekend so I may be delayed a little bit. I will send you a PM with more details when I get a chance. For the others that have followed this thread and expressed interest in having me make a scuttle for them, I am confident now that the next ones will be "marketable" and I will contact each of you by PM to confirm your interest/wants/desires/colors etc. Pls feel free to PM me as well.

    Regards, Dave

Red face Been outta comish fer awhile sorry....

Hello sir.....Been kinda outta commission and just getting back in the swing of things here.Just read your last design idea and thought I might throw another cent in the chat. How bout this. The first apothecary mug you made, the smaller one.Take that same size and add another half size to the mug height...keep the spout and all(make sure the spout has a nice spill proof size to it,seems like all the scuttles I've seen have really small holes).Keep the handle the same size as it looks sturdy enough as opposed to the larger handle, make it a single unit with hollow walls like you were talking about,no lid(or as stated before, make lid optional) and you could make the optional lid with a crescent cut to accommodate a brush to resting in the bowl eh ?..Done ta da ?

And it still would be able to be used as just a lather bowl if you wanted...just dont add water is all. no moving parts to break or swallow or poke an eye out.
