Thanks for posting your find og the Sears foam. I have a bunch of cigar boxes I can use for storage but haven't found a foam I liked. I'll give your find a look the next time I'm near a Sears. As a side note, I had five straight razors stored in a paper covered cigar box for around 15 years with not rust at all when I broke them out again. I'm guessing that the Spanish cedar the box is made of may have helped. That, or the box absorbed the moisture regardless of the type of wood. Since I have more cigar boxes handy it doesn't matter which is the most helpful.

Looks gorgeous. Do you strop all of them once a week and use the kit that way?

That's a very nice job. I am knocking around the idea of making a 7-day case myself, so this is definitely food for thought. Thanks for sharing!

So a BIG thank you for the Craftsman Foam... I went to Sears and picked it up and got a great box from a store that sells left over stuff... its almost like a semi-organized outlet. Tuesday Morning it's called.
    $19.99 foam
$ 6.99 box - Its one of those boxes that looks like a book
Not a bad first try and I have a ton of the foam left over. This stuff is great. It's easy to work with, though a fresh razor blade cuts way better then the silly knife they give you.

Makes for a great 7 Day set !
So you are starting a library of razors?
    Excellent work.
If you need a librarian I have someone in mind who could be pursuaded :
