    Default Custom Coffin Box

    Hey all,

We have a member here in Toronto named Joe. Anyway, we just had a meet over at the Legion in the east end of the city, and he brought some of what he calls "Occupational Therapy" to show. He had about 5 or six of these. We bantered back and forth for a bit, and he mentioned that he could make a coffin for my larger razors.

Anyway, the short of it is....this fits my 9/8 W&B, and it's awesome. It's also long enough to hold a pack of silica in the bottom during travel days. He does it all by hand. It's so incredible, that I had to show it off. I mean, this guy deserves some serious props.

These pics don't even do it justice. I was leaving my big razors at home every time I went overnight somewhere, which is a bit of a heart ache....because the big ones are my favourite. Now they can come on the trip too! Name: Coffin Box 2.jpg

    I can vouch for that!
Those boxes Joe makes are georgeous!
He says they're simpler than they look but i think he's modest.
Glad to see you picked one up Nate!
    Congrats!

Wow, that is nice-looking work! Kudos to the craftsman.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I've posted a couple of pics in the show and tell section, just in case anyone is curious.
