Thanked: 2NicksnCuts,
In Spain you should keep an eye out for the La Toja shave sticks, and Vie Long brushes. The brushes come in a range of models, but all are reasonably priced. Also, pick up a bottle of Myrsol! The Aqua Balsamica AS is a cool, offbeat splash and the pre/post shave Emulsion is great. A brush would be a great souvenir which would remind you of the trip, check out the little "perfumeria" shops which are in most Spanish urban shopping neighborhoods. Buen Viaje!

Thanks Fogcutter for the info! Sounds like good stuff! I will probably need to ship back all the stuff I am going to want to bring back. I should just go with one of my suitcases empty (lol).

Going on European Cruise - Where Should I Go to Get Shaving Finds?
Cool! Have fun. I haven't been there yet. I'm heading to the Black Sea area next (Copenhagen,Stockholm, Hamburg, St. Petersburg, etc.).
I gave up straight razor shaving just before my last trip in place of using a "like new" 1960 Gillette Fatboy F4 adjustable safety razor. Still whip up my creams with a nice silver tip badger brush and hand made scuttle. I'm now selling off some of my prize Straights and keeping the lower price ones for decoration or the occasional bug to use one again. I was even into restoring blades and scales and making paddle strops at one point but I just don't have the time with all my other hobbies and side business.

If you've never been to europe you will love it. My favourite country is Germany, without doubt.
Good food, great beer and lovely people. The scenery is pretty decent too. Took my wife a little while back during the winter and she decribed it as a christmas card scene.

We sell a lot of great traditional and modern shaving products, as you can see on our webshop.

Apologies for hijacking the thread. I really do hope you enjoy Europe. It's a great place with more history than you could shake a stick at!
Secondly I will take you up on the invitation to visit. Do I need to book an appointment for a shave?
The wife probably won't be happy but she can toodle off and shop with her sister.
I look forward to meeting you. I'll be the confused looking Englishman ohne hair probably trying to communicate in broken German

Haha, ok! Yeah it's smart to book in advance since we're pretty full most of the time. email us: [email protected], or call at 0031648751589.
Your wife will actually probably be really happy as we're located right by Haarlemmerdijk, which is elected " Best Shopping Street of the Netherlands"! You'll probably be done before she is.. See you soon!
