Hahaha...I knew that coment would spark some comments. Thanks for paying attention.
My folks, now in their 70's, won the lotto a little while back in their State (God bless them)...bought a Harley trike, traveling and such. They decided to take my sister and our spouses on this two week trip to Europe, all expenses paid (except spending money - damn them). I keep telling them not to spend my sister's half of the inheritence all at once.... I have never been to Europe.
Anyway I am really stoked to go and collect as much minty antique straight razors and some other goodies as I can without being detained at customs. I love a good treasure hunt. I was just wondering if anyone was ever over in those areas and had a few hot places to check out for stuff. I will ask the locals maybe too.
Thanks for all the input.

Thanked: 118Wow! It sounds like it will be a mini adventure.
Don't forget two things:
1. These areas are all much closer to Austria / Germany then we are, so keep an eye out for any Thuringian Stones you may come across.
2. Don't spend so much time hunting for treasure that you miss out on the memories. They won't rust, and you will treasure them for the rest of your life.
Enjoy!!!

Sounds like a blast! Stop in at little pharmacies and whatnot along the way, but make sure they're along the way. There's very little that you can't find online, and your vacation time is far more precious than the few bucks you might save on import costs. Seriously.

Thanked: 2NicksnCuts,
In Spain you should keep an eye out for the La Toja shave sticks, and Vie Long brushes. The brushes come in a range of models, but all are reasonably priced. Also, pick up a bottle of Myrsol! The Aqua Balsamica AS is a cool, offbeat splash and the pre/post shave Emulsion is great. A brush would be a great souvenir which would remind you of the trip, check out the little "perfumeria" shops which are in most Spanish urban shopping neighborhoods. Buen Viaje!

Thanks Fogcutter for the info! Sounds like good stuff! I will probably need to ship back all the stuff I am going to want to bring back. I should just go with one of my suitcases empty (lol).
