I was sent a Mach 3 many years ago. That was way before I switched to a DE. It worked well enough since I didn't know better. I then later switched to a Fusion. I spent way to much on cartridges for those two. Never again.

If I shaved every day with a Fusion, it usually wouldn't last more than a week, and it would tug quite a bit at that point. I stopped shaving every day because of cost and irritation. Now that I have a DE and some quality shaving materials, I actually like to shave every day.

I used a Fusion for years before switching to using a DE around six months ago. They last so long because, at near $5 a pop, nobody want's to pay for replacement cartridges! Don't equate that fact with shave quality.

I received a freebie Gillette FPG in the mail for my eighteenth. Dug it up and have been using it the past few days. It's pretty good, but I think that if I used it every day my skin would get irritated from the tugging and pulling.

Not going to buy into the $3 cartridge garbage and just going to make the leap from electric to DE shaving instead.

I used to have a Mach 3 i used it for years and years with very few cartridge changes I think in the four years I had it I went through about 10 blades, I tried my best not to buy them due to cost, then I bought a straight not looked back since, I've started collecting straights now and I love it .

Haha the funny thing is we turn to DE and straight shaving for the cost, but then we get RAD. Good thing is though, after a while the cost will even itself out and the cartridge shaver will have literally thrown his money in the trash and the DE/straight shavers will have acquired a nice collection of razors
