I have a question - I am pretty sure that one of the reasons (amoung others) that cedar is used in cigar boxes is because of its ability to hold moisture for proper cigar storage/transport - do you see any signs of this being an issue?

Cedar does help keep the humidor stable, but as long as he's not adding humidity it will dry like any untreated wood.
