Default Roberts clay of feat or dirty bird scuttle

Ok started researching scuttles.. Most of you praise both of the scuttles mentioned above .. With pros and cons.. I was dead set on the dirty bird until I saw the Price difference and some reviews.. I'm not looking to bash either one but what's ur pros and cons with both and your personal experience..

I had a RB scuttle and it did its job at keeping lather warm. I've had no experience with a DB scuttle, so I couldn't tell you about that particular one.

There was a thread on here about the Roberts Feats of Clay scuttles. Like the one I have but no experience with the DB one.

I've got one of each and haven't been able to decide which I like better. Either would be a real winner. Go with whichever speaks to you.

What size scuttle did you get from Roberts? He makes so many sizes that it's hard for a beginner like me to choose.

What about George town Pottery, I have the G5 scuttle and I think since my purchase they've made a G20? (bigger). I like mine, holds the heat well enough, a good looking functional piece.

I just received my Georgetown Pottery G20 scuttle in Hamada and colbalt blue. The glazing is a true work of art and it is big. G20 got its name because it holds 20 ounces of water. I have yet to shave but filled it up and put the pewter stopper in. It stayed hot for hours. I can't wait to shave. It costs more but really is beautiful.
