When I do not have enough time for a proper lather sometimes I use Cornhuskers solution and it works very well as a shave gel without any other prep.

After getting into wet shaving & seeing the different products from around the world; I notice items on the shelves that I have passed over for years. The other day, "Yardley" caught my eye as I was in the isle at Wal Mart. I noticed Yardley English Lavender soap on the shelf, only a few bars. So I bought a couple of bars & it lathers great & smells great for a long time.

Yes, it is great, a strong Lavender scent.
Some beauty stores are selling this exact product for $4.00, at Wal Mart it's marked $1.00.

Ha! That Yardley soap does have a strong scent. That is what I have in the shower currently. I am not a fan of lavender so I am trying to use it up quickly. The wife bought a bundle of these because the price was so good; my dislike of waste won't allow me to open another soap until this one is used up.

Yup, I am using Yardley too. I had a bar of the L'Occitane Lavender which is a lot more expensive but does go a long way.

I looked at the L'Occitane products in a mall, but they were so expensive,
maybe someday.

My wife was in L'Occitane yesterday and picked up a soap set as part of a Mothers Day sale. We only buy their products when it is discounted. Shaving related, I passed up her offer to pick up shaving supplies at L'Occitane and Art of Shaving due to their high prices. I think she picked up some shaving cream from The Body Shop.
