Anyhoo Sunday dinner for me was German fried spare ribs, hash browns, and sweet/sour onions.......all done up with vintage Wagner cast iron.

Thanked: 13234many recipes say the names are interchangeable
I have also heard that the difference is the Cornmeal
Johnnycakes use cornmeal and Hoe cakes don't or use much less
IDK what the real answer is but I am going to try without for the first time since I have had Johnny Cakes with Corn Meal

Just finished the Griswold #5 EPU. It's not a rare piece but it is a hard to find one.

What does EPU mean? Something to do with Erie, PA?
