BBC - Travel - Is this the worlds greatest rice?
"In Charleston, South Carolina, rice doesn’t take a backseat to other ingredients – it’s a homegrown rock star."
Carolina Plantation Rice
My favorite for R & R is Ellis Stansel's Gourmet Rice.

Great thread and bump-up, I made a batch this past Monday and the SWMBO was thrilled..."you should do this every Monday".
I also did a load of towels in the wash to make it official...Support Movember!

+1 - I've found the overnight cold water soak with rinse to work better than the "boil and pause" or any of it variants.
High quality, new crop red beans (Camila) is also key. The difference in cost per serving between the best and "meh" is a few pennies per serving...and you are worth every penny...Support Movember!

and in the other direction old overly dried out meh beans with no soaking will produce windy results.
