Setting up for Father’s Day and a ten person gtg Sunday!
Going to do ribs and wings on the smoker with typical finger food sides.
Weather is looking good and a pool party is in order!
Figure I can get 6 full racks and maybe 4 lbs of wings on there if I’m lucky..
Should feeed 7, as 3 are vegan now,,,,,,,,,,,

A guy I used to hang out with was a pretty good sized boy. I hadn't seen him in years and I ran into his mother. We were talking and I asked how he was and she told me that he'd become a vegetarian. I said REALLY? Damn could he put down the roasts, steaks and burgers!

She said; "Tell me about it! I could have saved a lot of money feeding him veggies instead of those roasts, steaks and burgers"!
Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

I my area the fresh veggies and fruit are crazy money. It’s way more expensive here for that stuff than most places. Fish and deer make up giant parts of most peoples diets.

I finally found a lid for my drum smoker. Somebody had thrown out their grill, I saw it as I was driving by, as they say one man's trash is another man's treasure. I also built a hanging rack for the drum. With the big lid it will make it easier for big pork butts and turkeys. The hardest part was figuring out the hinge.
