Well the glorious day of Christmas is almost gone. Two of my kids and their familes were here along with my brother.

Here's what was for supper.

Roast Pork



Pork Gravy



Hassleback Potatoes



Green Bean Casserole



Homemade Butter and Homemade Rolls



And of course my pumpkin pie



I hope all had as wonderful day as I did

Was a small event for the holidays this year, but still had to cook the traditional.
Prime rib on Christmas Eve.

Turkey with all the trimmings for the big day.

And loads of monkey bread and coffees with home made Bailey’s to get me to and from the table!

Musta put on 10 lbs!

I feel your pain

Started the new year not wanting beef, or bird, so went with a pork dish based on bacon last night.
Porchetta for three.

Pork belly filled with seasonings and rolled up fat out. Cooked at 400 for 90 minutes, tented with foil, then up to425 for 30 minutes to turn the bark into candy.

Looks almost healthy huh??
So good,, and a great way to use up any leftover cranberries from last week.

I used to fix a dinner but I've found that this way everyone can come and go as they please. My youngest daughter wasn't feeling well so she and the two kids didn't come so I'll be taking leftover to her.
