What are you using for a shortbread recipe?
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

It is a 3 ingredient recipe that is on a hand written piece of paper. Is as follows:

    1 Cup butter softened
    1/2 Cup icing sugar
    2 Cups of flour

Cream together butter and sugar. Add flour and mix till it forms a soft dough. The dough will be crumbly at first so keep mixing until it is smooth

I then roll it into balls and place them on a cookie sheet topped with parchment paper. I flatten the balls with a dinner fork

Put them in an oven pre heated to 350 and bake for 16-18 minutes or until golden brown.

After a day of sorrow I thought that a little bit of light entertainment might be in order. Please forgive me for being a bit 'Off Topic'
