    Man.I gotta say you guys are High tech for sure,I make camp coffee every morning,boil water in a sauce pan, toss in a handfull of Folgers,bring back to a rolling boil,strain thru a sock into my lidded SS thermo cup,Done

    I spent the last two months in lebabon drinking Turkish coffee, pretty much made the same way pixelfixed does it minus the straining. It became my new favorite way to drink coffee, but I still love my espresso.

    jmercer, what kind of grinder is that you have there and how do you like it? I'm in the market for a new grinder, preferable at or below $700...ish

    It is a 10 year old Rancilio Rocky SD grinder. It is a rock crusher for sure. The motor does not blink/slow down in the slightest when grinding.

    Hmmn wow on looking for one today I see they have gone done in price a bit. Sweet! Here's one for $345US. That was just one hit on price. I paid close to $480US 10 years ago.
