If you can't get to the beer, then there is a serious design flaw, as beer is also needed to clean the BBQ before cooking the steak. More beer is also required for adding flavour to the onions during cooking and during, while and after these tasks more beer must be consumed, especially f your the cook. The cook must never be left high and dry. As for the sangers, I think the solution is in those double zip lock lunch bags. Plastic containers take up more room than is required and ice is better for keeping the beer cold than those freezer packs. ;)
