This is a follow up on my entry dated 8/24. On Thursday the airlock finally stopped bubbling and I raked the mead to a glass carboy on Friday. I took a sample with a wine thief of the mead and it is very good; I judge that alcohol is around 11% (I also took a hydrometer reading) It will seat in the second fermenter for a couple of weeks; I need to rake it again for another week then keg it.
