hey nite, when you sell your grinder, tell the guy you know where another one is, lol. i havent touched coffee for a while now, and i am like everyone else, i dont miss the stomach issues that come from it. i do want to buy another french press though for making tea in, i hear its a good way to do it
I had a friend once who used to do that.He seemed to never have any complaints.I'm pretty much a teapoot kinda guy.I kept the FP just in case of company wanting coffee or something like that. I figure if I really need coffee,I'll just grind some up at the store.I'm not one of those coffee purists that has to grind the beans right at the very second of brewing. When I drink an Iced Latte it doesn't seem to do too much damage. But hot coffee........whhooooeee ! Two cups and I'm shootin fer the moon and then I get the dreaded coffee crash. More than two cups and it also starts tasting muddy to me.
Oh and the way things are going..I may just end up givin the dang thing away...everyone is too poor to buy.It were an expensive grinder too...sheeesh !
i know what you mean, mine is a cuiseanart grinder, so i know what you mean. i am looking to purchase an electric kettle, to heat water, that way i can get it done in another room besides the kitchen. i would like to be able to boil the water in the same room i brew in from time to time.
Well it evening here and I'm sipping on a cup of Lapsang Souchong... I seeped it a little long today 3-4 minutes)... Much more flavor and a nice woodsy aroma... No sugar required...
Earl Grey, hot. Make it so!
I drink a lot more coffee than I do tea, but right now I’m enjoying some Twinings green tea while I’m doing some reading.
phil, i usually steep mine for 5 min. i like mine strong, i usually use about 2 tablespoons of leaves for a 24 oz cup at work. i am currently looking for a electric kettle, 2 to be exact, one for here at the house and one for at work, i hate heating water in the microwave, actually makes it to hot. i have found that if you use the brew sacs, that can be bought online or at some of the tea rooms, it makes the process a little less cumbersome, especially when you have to brew in a sort amount of time, like i usually have at work.
