I have a tea ball... I use about 3/4 tsp for 12 oz... I'll go 5 minutes and see what I think... Should be just as good if not better than the last cup...

As a matter of fact, I'm drinking green tea & honey right now as I came across this thread! Tea is very healthy, especially with the honey.
I just got back from China after two weeks there. I brought a good amount of teas back with me. Before my trip I was not much of a tea drinker. But now I am and I learned alot from my Chinese coworkers and visted ALOT of tea stores.
I will post more info later for those interested in the tea sets that I purchased, yes it's a long story.. And I feel like I learned a good deal of info from the lady who owns a tea pot factory where I purchased one set.

I recently bought some tea from the local tea shop. I decided that as my daughter will be born soon I deserve a present. It is a red tea, which is like a fully oxidised oolong tea. It makes a very dark and delicious tea which tastes great for up to about five infusions. This afternoon I have been enjoying this with some Earl Grey Cookies. A combination that seems to be the perfect late afternoon pick me up.
It's rainning in Iowa... Two days now... This morning is very dark and gloomy so a cup of Earl Grey or English Breakfast is in order...
Very timely to bring this topic back with the Holiday coming up on the 16th! The remembrance of the Boston Tea Party. Sure it was 1773 but it might be a good day to remember by switching to another beverage. No. Not London Gin either!
I like Chai also, but it is worse than coffee for staining everything it comes in contact with (including my teeth) and that is why I haven't been drinking it much of late. I used to order the Tazo Chai by the case and I would drink it black. Lately I have been drinking more green teas, mostly Japanese Sencha (Gyokuro) or Chinese Gynostemma (Jiaogulan). Last summer when I was in the Los Angeles area, I swung by Wing Hop Fung in Chinatown and picked up a large supply of Chinese Herbs with intentions of cooking up some of my own tonics (maybe this holiday season). A few I would like to start with include $18k Tea, Shamanic Tonic & Flying Dreams:
