Chinese tea is the way to enlightenment.........................or it's just plain good.:)
Man, it looks like I have some weird disease in that pic. Dried wood glue.
Leper !! .....uncleaN UNCLEAN !! .........:dropjaw:
Now admittedly i have been on a real Chinese jag lately since I bought my Wok.I have been immersing myself with cultural knowledge and I say with honesty that I am finding the Chinese teas and the drinking of them with very little western condiments to be very eye opening. I will always enjoy a nice Brit style cup for example with milk and sugar but I have been also doing the Oolong tea daily just straight up and it just fulfills me and makes me feel healthier as well.
I'm tellin ya Olav, that Yurt is getting closer and closer............Scenario...somewhere in the northern most region of China sits a westerner know as Steph who sits drinking his Oolong and paints watercolors all day long while contemplating enlightenment...."POOF" !! Back to reality !!!
A mix of Milk Oolong and Peach Oolong....just wonderful. Got my inner Tao on !

A beautiful rainy evening here in Athens and I am enjoying life with Dusk Shit!
Ya Shi cultivar (which is translated as “duck shit”, not duck waste) comes from Wudong mountains in China at 1200 meters elevation.
It tastes butter biscuits, almonds, prunes and dark chocolate to me. Very difficult to describe. Very special tea.

Cheers people!
Hua Zhu Liang Zi Ye Sheng Cha
A friend brought me this tea from a reputable teashop in Kiev, Ukraine.
It is a raw PuErh from the old wild trees on Mount Hua Zhu Liang Zi.
"Hua Zhu Liang Zi Ye Sheng Cha" is a national nature reserve, a primeval forest located on the western bank of the Naban River of Manghai County, Yunnan Province at an altitude of 2400 meters.
The tea is naturally aged for more than 10 years. I am truly amazed with it! Very floral in the nose, very fruity in the taste. Mangos and peaches. Natural sweetness, like honey. Mineral with excellent aftertaste.
