Started my morning off with some pu erh. Very nice, now swing how I have been awake since 4 am, its time to sleep again, my new work hours start tomorrow so I don't know what to expect. Now steph just so ya have an idea of my hookah, here is a pic. I enjoy some nice cardamom tea while smoking it and watching a movie on the computer
That's awesome Chad......you're as bad as me when it comes to creating ones own atmosphere. I can picture you already. You need to get a cd of persian music to ply while you sip and smoke. Hey Don..any good black tea will work. I use my PG tips all the time.The trick is to first brew the pot up like normal.Then..let it cool and add to cool or iced water and then add lemonade to taste. By letting the tea cool, you'll have less risk of cloudy iced tea. I haven't had AP in a while but it's not too bad if made with fresh lemon mmmm.:oQuote:

This is the lowest grade of matcha that I ordered from the shincha selection earlier this year, though still higher that the readily available matcha Yuuki Midori.

'Lowest', of course, is a relative term. These are by no means low-grade matcha—the colour of the powdered leaf is still a wonderful, vivid green and if you try to smell it, your nose will be too!

Now for the important part—flavour:
Definitely more similar to the Yuuki Midori than the Tori. It's a little earthier and isn't so fresh-tasting, nor does it have the body of flavour that the Tori does but is still rich and enjoyable.
It's a lovely matcha and definitely a good choice for regular drinking but, to me, what it does best is prove what a fantastic tea the matcha Tori is in comparison!
Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to enjoying the rest of this packet.
