Tea anyone ??!!

sittin here on the ole desktop for once in what seems like a long while, enjoyin a pot of russian royal tea, and some mint chocolate chip cookies, mmmmmm good.

hey nosewarmer, i saw this link in another forum i belong to, (a hookah forum go figure) and thought of you as i read it, you need to check it out.

That tea pictured in that link looked pretty weak to me. Perhaps watered down a tad too much.

Madelines are semi delicate semi spongey biscuits with a neutral sweet taste. Great for dunking. But they shall never replace my beloved scones.

Hope you make your own, my nan used to make fantastic scones. Cheesy ones are great, warm from the oven, sliced open and buttered. On a warm plate of course. Lets not get into the pronunciation debate, it is not pronounced like gone it pronounced like cone, the end don't argue you will be wrong. :-)

So the outside of a Madeline is like a skin rather than a crust, Is that right, I remember these sponge finger cakey buscuity thing which sound very similar, again usually part if the food orgy that was a visit to the grandparentals.

Nope...got a good bakery where I get'em. But once in a while I make'em using a reputable mix as I am not wired for baking . I don't carry the "B" Gene . I like'em best plain with tons of butter and jam m'self but I'll eat just about any kind of S-cone . I say Scone as in cone ?? what's the fuss ???? I can say it the other way if you like???:w and I don't even warm my scone plate . Maybe a brussels sprout scone on a cold plate with peanut butter and Marmite might be good yeah ???
