It's good to see so many other gin drinkers out there. Still havent tried Tangueray No. 10 yet or the Rangpur variety , but looking forward to both. I have not seen Voyager gin, so thats a new one i want to try as well. Great input everyone. Now here's something new, In a five gallon serving jug, or the like take about 11 or 12 green apples and remove stickers and stems, then add enough gin to submerge the apples. add about 3-4 cups of dekruyper sour apple liquor and allow to sit, about a week. the apples remove the imperfections in the gin, and most of the strong bite. leaving a sour apple "apple juice". Its something all right. then if you want when your all done, you can eat the "gin apples" or mash them to make a different flavored applesauce. I know it sounds strange, but its actually pretty good.

Hi,
Day to day gin, Beefeater or Plymouth; when I go abroad, I always bring back a litre of Gordons Export
Have fun !
Best regards

What a pleasant subject. My votes go for Bombay Sapphire,Gordons, and Plymouth in gin and tonics. Martinis are like lots of other things --- all good, some better than others.

Thanked: 16If you suffer from Arthritis then a large Gin & Tonic each night will help with the aches and pains, not sure how the Gin helps (something to do with it being an Alkali I think) but the tonic water contains Quinine which the doctor will give for the mussel spasm, I know my sister swears by it and now has all my other brothers and sisters on it, she found out about it while on holiday in Florida when she had to go see an osteopath

+1 for Hendricks!
I also like Bombay Sapphire, but must confess, Hendricks is the only bottle on my shelf for some time.

See, the bottle alone makes me want to buy it, how does it make a gin and tonic taste? Any suggestions on a brand of tonic water? I've use Schweppes and Canada Dry, so far. I went to the Chili's the other day, and the bartender put club soda in place of tonic water, when i mentioned it he told me they're all the same. So, i had him try both.... My drink was free.

Bombay Sapphire is my favorite.
The classic Gin & Tonic is still a great drink.
