When I got home this afternoon I had the idea of making coleslaw and my wife was thinking about making a chicken hotdish. So we compromised!:D After the hotdish was in the oven my 3 year old grandson and I set to work on the slaw. I decided to go with the Ramen noodle type because I like it and I had things handy. We were talking about all the different ingredients and I asked him what he thought should be in there. He said Pretzels. He has been on a Pretzel kick lately. I am open to many things and the dried Ramen is sort of like a Pretzel. :hmmm: So we tried it in a smaller bowl on the side and if you look close in the picture you can see them. It certainly was edible but I think the salt on the Pretzels didn't go well with the rest. If I had unsalted pretzels I would try it again. As you can tell I like to live life on the edge!:rofl2:
My wife's hotdish turned out well as usual but it needed a little salt and pepper. Now off to get my son and his broken down car. A different son than I had to get last week. :(
