It's a bit late, but this was my dinner yesterday.

Slow cooked belly pork (9 hours of cooking), cooked with carrot, parsnip, celery and chicken stock. Vegetables were meant to be masked, but the presence of too much stock resulted in something a bit more like a purée, hence the rather large splodge on the plate. Put some couscous I had left over with it as well
Tonight's dinner was grilled ribeye steaks and quinoa with spinach. This is the first time in several months that I have grilled. For the quinoa I sauteed onions in butter, then added chopped frozen spinach. After the spinach thawed I added chicken stock and quinoa. The results were okay but i still don't think I've really tapped this grain's potential.
It is always a family activity in our household. Everyone gets to pick their favourite toppings and everyone is happy.
Sometimes we even get goofy with the shape of the pizza. Heart-shaped on Valentine's Day, doughnut-shaped on April 1, etc.
If your son makes one this weekend, post a photo and I can show it to my daughter, so that she can see how others decorate their home-made pizzas. She's in grade school and loves this stuff.
