I was able to try Laphroaig and Oban while on a business trip this week.

Default TWO OF MY FAVORITE THINGS, TOGETHER!

Single malt scotch and good fudge are two of my guilty pleasures. The Edradour has long been one of my favorite malts, so combining it with fudge... BRILLIANT, and delicious!

When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's difficult only for the others.
It's the same when you are stupid.

Hmm, haven't been in this thread in a while. It's apple season so I poured me a snifter of calvados tonight

Clearly winter is upon us. The outside temp is 73°F (23°C) and raining. What better conditions for a bit of the spirits to staive off the winter's chill. Bourbon season having commenced a fortnight or so ago, I went with two or three fingers of this on the rocks. It's staiving off the chill wonderfully! Wait, that's whisky without the "e", a bit redneck to be amongst the scotch drinkers? All kidding aside, this is a wonderful sipping whisky. If you've not sampled it, do yourself a favor.
